UPESEAT 2025 Selection Process: Step-by-Step Admission Guide

Step 1: Understanding the Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility conditions, candidates who wish to take UPESEAT 2025 must qualify the exam. The basic eligibility requirements are:

1. Educational Qualification:
1. Applicants must have passed their class 12th or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks. 
2. They must also have secured at least 50% average of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
2. Age Limit:
1. The applicant must be born after 1st October 2003.
3. Entrance Exam Requirements:

Step 2: Application Process for UPESEAT 2025

The application process for UPESEAT 2025 will be online. Candidates have to follow these steps:

1. Registration:
1. Visit the official website of UPES and click on UPESEAT 2025 Result.
2. To register, enter simple information about yourself, such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, and date of birth.
3. After successful registration, the candidate will be given a user ID and password for login.
2. Filling the Application Form:
1. After entering the login details and filling in the user details, such as name, address, education, and contact information, and fill out the application form.
2. Select the test center and preferred mode of admission (UPESEAT, JEE Main, or Board Marks).
3. Uploading Documents:
1. You should upload clear scanned copies of relevant documents like passport-size photographs, signatures, academic certificates, etc. 
2. Make sure the files are in the correct format and size, as required.
4. Payment of Application Fee:
1. The application fee can be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking.

Step 5: Appearing for UPESEAT 2025 Exam

On the day of the exam, ensure the following:

1. Documents to carry: Admit card, any valid identity proof: Aadhaar card, passport, driving license, etc. 
2. Following exam guidelines: Candidates must reach the exam center at least half an hour before the exam time. Strictly follow any instructions given by the invigilators in all situations.

2.  If yes, bring the counselling fee if required.

3. Choice Filling:

1. If satisfied with the allotted seat, confirm the acceptance by paying the admission fee within the specified timeframe.
2. If not, candidates can participate in the next round of counseling.

Step 8: Admission through JEE Main or Board Exam Merit

Candidates opting for admission via JEE Main or board exam merit should follow a similar process:

1. Register for admission: Complete the application form available on the UPES website and choose JEE Main or Board marks.
2. Submit JEE Main score or board exam marks: You need to upload documents like JEE Main scorecard or class 12 mark sheet and give course preference etc

Step 9: Final Admission and Fee Payment

1. To gain admission to any of the available programmes, pay the required admission fee through the online payment system.
