UPESEAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before filling the application form, candidates must refer to the UPESEAT admission criteria. Only candidates who meet the UPESEAT 2025 admission criteria will be eligible for admission.

UPESEAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main and Board-Merit Candidates

UPES admission is granted by the authorities on the basis of JEE Main score and committee merit. The admission criteria are different for admission through JEE Main or committee. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility criteria for admission through JEE Main

Candidates who have applied for admission through JEE Main will be disqualified from the entrance exam. The officials will announce the JEE cut-off marks after declaring the JEE Main result.

1. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in the preliminary examinations of 10th and 12th grade.
2. Candidates must have secured 50% or more marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths Physics in 12th grade.

Eligibility criteria for admission through Board Merit

1. Candidates must have obtained 50% or more of the marks in the preliminary examinations of 10th and 12th grade.
2. Candidates must have obtained 50% or more of the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th grade.

UPESEAT 2025 Scholarship

UPES will award scholarships to candidates belonging to two categories: All India Category and Special Scholarship for Residents of Uttarakhand. The eligibility criteria are given below.

All India Category

1. To qualify for this scholarship, candidates must have secured 80% marks in classes 10 and 12 and 85% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2. Under this scholarship, a 50% fee waiver will be given on 10% of the seats in each programme during the first year for candidates who pass the CBSE, ICSE and Govt examinations.
3. The scholarship will be renewed in the second semester of the programme, if the candidate secures an overall grade point average of 8/10.

Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarships

1. Seats in this category are reserved for students resident in Uttarakhand at 15%.
2. Under this scholarship, 25% scholarship is given to boys and 35% to girls.
3. The scholarship will be renewed in the second semester of the programme, if the candidate obtains a Grade Point Average (SGPA) of 8/10.
