UGC NET Result 2024 - Normalization Procedure

The normalization method is used to determine the marks obtained by the candidates. The actual scores obtained by the candidate in various shifts are converted by NTA into UGC NET Score (percentage points).

Example: If UGC NET June 2024 is held in two shifts and 40% marks are equal to a percentage value of 74 in shift 1 and 76 in shift 2, then all of them equal or more than 76 per cent (percentile 100 to 76 ) in both shifts generally qualify for the category. What are the pass criteria and minimum qualifying marks for UGC NET 2024?

1. According to the UGC NET result 2024, the number of candidates for both posts – a job I and II – is 6 per cent of the candidates appearing in the exam

UGC NET Result 2024- Minimum Qualifying Percentage

What is the Validity of the UGC NET 2024 Certificate?

JRF: JRF UGC NET certificate will be valid for the next three years from the date of result declaration.

LS: Although there is no such validation restriction for the post of Associate Professor (Lecture).

In case of loss of the original JRF Award Letter and/or NET Lectureship/Assistant Professor Eligibility Certificate, the applicant may request a copy of the NET Certificate/JRF Award Letter by submitting the following documents:

1. Application of candidate and his date and UGC NET Roll Number.
2. Self-attested copy of data loss FIR. Rs. 100/- written on behalf of the Secretary, University Grants Committee. As all NET Assistant Eligibility Certificates are issued electronically, the applicant must include their email contact/mobile number.
