Exam results are the main criteria for admission to Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) MBA courses. The selection process for the 2024-2026 batch includes SNAP 2023 score, Group Exercise (GE), Personal Communication (PI) and Written Aptitude Test (WAT). SNAP Result 2023 was declared on 10th January 2024 and the result card was available for download till 9th ??February 2024. SIBM Pune and SCMHRD Pune SNAP List have started. SNAP Selection Process 2024: Highlights

1. Candidates must select their desired MBA courses and SIU institutes only in the SNAP 2024 application form.
2. SNAP 2024 students must pay INR 1000 per SIU institute in the SNAP registration application form.
3. Candidates cannot apply for SIU institutes SNAP 2024 registration is closed.
4. Each institute conducts SNAP through the admission process separately for each program.
5. The invitation to participate in GE-PI-WAT is based on the SNAP deadlines established for that academic year.
6. SIU institutes set admission limits individually according to their own admissions criteria and parameters.
7. The PI recommendation also takes into account the applicant's academic record.
8. Based on the overall cut-off percentile of SNAP 2024, an applicant can choose more than one program. In such a situation, they must participate in the selection process for each course separately.

SNAP Admission Process 2024

The SNAP 2024 shortlist for the MBA batch of 2024 includes GE, PI and WAT which will be conducted for the candidates who have cleared the SNAP exam. Candidates who meet the SNAP cut-off of the institutes are eligible for GE, PI and WAT awards. To participate in GE, PI and WAT candidates have to fill out the online application form with the SNAP application form on the website of their selected institutes. If selected, they will be informed about GE, PI and WAT schedules and locations via email.

Participation in GE-PI and WAT courses is mandatory for admission. An applicant who does not participate in the selection process will not qualify for the SNAP admissions process to any SIU MBA program. 

What is Group Exercise?

Group exercise or GE is like a group discussion where candidates are grouped into 8-10 and each group is given cases to discuss and come up with solutions. The case is based on marketing, human resources, finance and operations. Each group gets 20 minutes to discuss and present their solution.

What is Personal Interaction?

The Personal Interaction or PI round is a face-to-face interaction with a panel consisting of researchers, teachers and experts in the field. Questions range from reasons for an MBA to hobbies and plans.

What is the Writing Ability Test?

The Writing Aptitude Test or WAT is an essay test where candidates are given a short paragraph on a topic to write about. They should write about the topic in 5-10 minutes and the word count is 100-200 words.

SNAP Selection Process: Final Merit List and Parameters

The final merit list of SNAP of selected candidates will be prepared based on their performance in each selection round. Applicants are evaluated in each round and a composite score is calculated for each. The offer of admission will be sent according to the final grades. SNAP Cutoff 2024

All students must meet the SNAP 2024 cutoff for participating institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University to be invited for Phase 2. The SNAP cutoff is the minimum score an applicant must secure to qualify for the subsequent rounds of the GE selection process- PI/WAT. Institutions participating in SNAP prepare individual SNAP shortlists based on certain factors like reservation criteria, availability of seats, difficulty level of SNAP entrance exam, etc. 

Basic details related to the three steps of stage 2 are provided below:

Step 1 of Round 2: Group Exercise (GE)

1. Candidates who qualify for SNAP 2024 will be shortlisted and required for the GE round.
2. Group exercises are conducted to assess the candidate's skills and potential. This round is very similar to a group discussion where candidates are given a topic and their communication, problem-solving and concentration skills are assessed.
3. 7-8 candidates are divided into groups and they discuss the given topic for about 15-20 minutes. 

Step 2 of Round 2: Personal Interaction (PI)

1. Candidates shortlisted in the GE round will be called further for personal interaction.
2. Mainly applied to assess a candidate's communication skills and confidence. 

Step 3 of Round 2: Writing Ability Test (WAT)

1. Candidates are given a topic and asked to write an essay. The written aptitude test is a paper test.
2. This candidate's grammar, vocabulary and writing skills will be tested.
