What is the SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a common admission test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its 16 constituent institutes. SIU offers MBA / PGDM courses in several popular and specialised fields. JK Business School Gurgaon also accepts SNAP scores for MBA admissions. 

The SNAP exam is a speed-based test and the question paper contains 60 MCQs on General English, Quantitative Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes without a time limit. SNAP is administered through a computer-based test (CBT). Applicants can attempt three companies in SNAP 2024. Admission to SIU is based on the best of three grades.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2024

To participate in the 2024 SNAP exam, students must meet the requirements below:

1. SNAP 2024 is eligible to apply for a degree in any Stream with at least 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent from a recognised University or Institute.
2. Final-year graduates can easily apply to SNAP.
3. There is no age limit for the SNAP exam, but since the minimum qualification required is high school graduation, students must be at least 18 years old. 
4. International students are required to obtain an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to apply for SNAP 2024. 

SNAP 2024 Exam Pattern

SNAP exam pattern 2024 is similar to other MBA entrance exams, i.e. it is an MCQ-based test. It is one of the easiest MBA entrance exams of all. Check below the highlights of the SNAP exam pattern 2024:

1. The SNAP exam duration is 60 minutes without a break or sectional time limit.
2. The total number of questions is 60.
3. SNAP General English section has 15 questions, A-LR has 25 questions and QA, DI-DS has 20 questions.
4. The total mark of the exam is 60.
5. Every question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of - 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt.
6. Up to three attempts are allowed for every aspirant (you will have to pay the fee per attempt).
7. The difficulty level of the SNAP exam is easy to moderate.

SNAP Application Process 2024

SNAP registration cum application process 2024 will be online and candidates will have to fill out the application form at the SNAP website. Check how to fill out the SNAP 2024 application form below:

1. Visit the SNAP 2024 website and click on 'Apply Now' (snaptest.org)
2. Click on the registration link to fill out the form.
3. Enter personal and academic details, select exam dates and test city.
4. Upload a passport-size photograph (up to three months).
5. Pay the SNAP fee of INR 2,250 via credit/debit card or online banking.
6. Enter academic details, work experience and address.
7. Choose SIU schools and courses of your choice.
8. Pay INR 1,000 per course/institute to complete the process.

SNAP Test Cities and Centres

The SNAP exam is conducted in 84 cities across India. Every city has at least one SNAP test centre where candidates can take the test on a computer. With the application form, the applicant can choose a maximum of three cities to share the test locations. Once selected, SNAP test cities cannot be changed, so applicants should choose carefully.

The SNAP Admit Cards for all three sessions are different. Candidates must ensure that they carry the SNAP Admit Card of that session otherwise, they will not be able to appear for the exam. Check the below steps to download SNAP Admit Card 2024:

1. Log on to the SNAP 2024 website.
2. Click on the 'admit card' tab.
3. Enter your SNAP ID and password in the field below.
4. The SNAP admit card tab will appear on the screen.

SNAP 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The SNAP 2024 exam was held in various exam centres across India. Candidates had to follow the SNAP exam instructions mentioned in the admit card. Listed below are some dos and don'ts for the SNAP exam. 

SNAP Dos:

1. Report to your SNAP exam centre two hours before the commencement of the exam
2. Check the exam instructions thoroughly before you start solving the questions
3. Candidates with disability and their scribe must carry relevant documents of identification
4. Carry two printouts of your SNAP 2024 admit card and one of the following documents as ID proof:

1. Driving license
2. Passport
3. PAN card
4. Voter ID
5. Aadhaar card

SNAP Don'ts:

1. Do not bring cell phones, calculators, timers, digital watches, or other electronic devices into the exam room
2. Do not arrive late to the SNAP testing centre. After the gates are closed, no entry into the examination hall is allowed.
