How to Calculate CMAT Score 2025?

CMAT score is calculated based on correct and incorrect attempts made by the candidate. The total mark is 400. Given below is the process by which CMAT scores are calculated.

1. For each correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
2. For each incorrect answer, a -1 mark is deducted.
3. For each unanswered question, no mark is awarded.
4. The total CMAT score will be calculated by totalling marks gained or lost in each question.
5. The CMAT scores are then scaled, normalised and converted to percentile.

All India CMAT Rank and Merit List is prepared based on the overall results. If more than one candidate has the same CMAT marks, the ranking will be done based on points in the following order:

CMAT Cutoff 2025 - Predictions

The CMAT 2025 cutoff is determined based on the CMAT 2024 results, the previous year's CMAT category cutoff trend, the number of students appearing for the exam and other factors. CMAT cutoff 2024 varies between colleges accepting CMAT. CMAT cut-off in top colleges like JBIMS, JIM, KJSIMSR, SIMSREE etc should be 95-99 plus overall percentile this year.

What After CMAT 2025 Result?

After the declaration of the CMAT result in 2025, candidates must apply for admission in MBA programs offered by colleges that accept CMAT scores. CMAT admission: GD/PI Shortlisting

Most of the MBA institutes specify a minimum score in CMAT to shortlist candidates for the GD / PI round. After receiving applications from applicants, admissions officers select them based on their CMAT scores. Those who clear the CMAT 2025 cutoff will be shortlisted for the GD/PI round.

The GD/PI round will be held at the institute campus on the scheduled date. In the GD round, candidates are grouped into groups of 8-10 members.
