The last date to fill out the application form is 18 November 2024. NLU, Delhi has announced the AILET exam date 2025 on 8 December 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The AILET exam for master / LLM in intellectual property law is scheduled for 23 June.

Through AILET, you can get admission to BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programs. AILET 2025 exam pattern varies between programs. NLU, Delhi announces the candidates for the program on their official website. What is AILET exam ?

The National Law University, Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exam  (NLU Delhi) for admission to Undergraduate (UG), Masters (PG), and Doctorate (PhD) law courses. A national-level entrance exam is conducted to apply to NLU Delhi law programs. The paper test will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm.

AILET exam 2025 Application Steps

To fill out the application form for the AILET 2025, candidates can use the following steps: 

  1. Go to the AILET official portal at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  2. Click the "Register" link and provide the following information: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Phone Number, Email, Religion, and Category.
  3. Send an email/SMS with the same code you received to complete the registration.
  4. Once you have submitted all the required information, you will create your AILET candidate account.
  5. Fill out the application form and submit a scanned copy of your signature and passport-size photograph.
  6. Check all the information you entered. If this information is correct, pay the application fee.
  7. Submit the form and download it as a PDF for future reference

AILET 2025 Admit Card

National Law University (NLU), Delhi will release the AILET exam Admit Card 2025 on 28 November 2024 at Nationallawuniversitydelhi. in. Admit cards will be issued to candidates who have applied for AILET 2025 through online mode.

Candidates cannot get an AILET card in offline mode. AILET exam Admit Card is the most important document to appear in the AILET 2025 exam.

Time Schedule

As you have got all the important book lists now it’s time to plan a comprehensive timetable to ace your preparation.

  1. For English, 1.30 hours will be enough for AILET exam preparation.
  2. For current reasons, 30 minutes will be enough. For Statics GK you have to spend 1 hour to cover all the important topics
  3. your main focus is on logic as the exam is very heavy. So give yourself at least 2-3 hours to work.

AILET 2025 Result

NLU, Delhi will announce the ALIET exam Result in the third or last week of December. The result includes total score, partial score, personal details, deduction etc

AILET 2025 Merit List

NLU Delhi publishes AILET BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM merit lists in different categories. AILET exam merit list is a separate course list that includes names, admit card numbers (AILET roll number) and a list of candidates eligible for admission. AILET exam 2025 merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses will be released separately after the declaration of AILET exam results. To download the merit list candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official AILET Portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 
  2. Scroll down and navigate the "Notification" section. 
  3. In the Notification section look for the "AILET 2025 BA LLB (Hons.)/LLM Merit List."
  4. Click the merit list and save it as PDF.

AILET 2025 Admission Process

The NLU Delhi admission process through the AILET exam 2025 consists of the following steps:

Step 1: Online Registration Candidates can register online at the official website of NLU Delhi - https://nludelhi.ac.in and fill in all the necessary details in the application form, submit the documents select and pay the test fee. AILET 2025 application form for AILET can only be submitted online.

Step 2: AILET exam 2025 Admit Card

NLU Delhi will issue an Admit Card to the candidates who have registered for the exam. Candidates must carry the AILET 2025 Admit Card on the exam day. Candidates with admit cards will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

Step 3: AILET 2025 Exam - Candidates must appear for AILET at the exam centre specified in the admit card. They should go to the exam centres at least one hour before the exam.

Step 4: Result Declaration - Normally NLU Delhi will declare the AILET exam results within one month of the exam. The result card of the candidates appearing in the examination will mention their All India Ranks (AIRs), category marks and their total marks.

Step 5: Counseling – The University will conduct the AILET exam counselling based on the list published at the time of results. During the counselling session, eligible candidates will be offered a seat in the legal field based on their merit.

AILET 2025 Counselling

AILET exam counselling will be conducted online through the AILET exam portal, Nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The counselling process includes the following steps:

AILET counselling registration and submission of registration fee

After releasing the AILET exam result, candidates must register for counselling at Nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. In this registration process, applicants must submit scanned copies of educational certificates, transcripts and other relevant documents and pay the registration fee.

AILET Merit Lists

After counselling registration, NLU Delhi will release AILET exam Merit Lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses to shortlist eligible candidates for admission. The university publishes four merit lists for each of the two courses.

Admission Fee Submission

If a candidate is selected in the AILET merit list, he/she has to pay the admission fee online before the deadline fixed by NLU Delhi.

REPORTS TO COLLEGE

In the final phase of AILET counselling, candidates have to visit NLU Delhi to confirm their allotted seats.
