Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun Admission Open 2024-25

Uttarakhand Technical University Admission 2024 is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fee for Uttarakhand Technical University is INR 1,000 to 2,500 depending on the courses that you choose. UTU, Dehradun Scholarships are also provided to criteria-based deserving or qualifying students.

Uttarakhand Technical University Under Graduate Admission Process 2024-25

1. Bachelor of Pharmacy: Admission to Pharma, 1st Year is based on the inter-se merit of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University in the month of April-June, along with the following minimum eligibility criteria.

Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Pharmacy course must have obtained individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology Botany & Zoology, or Mathematics both in theory and practical.

2. B.Pharma (Lateral Entry): Admission to Pharma, 2nd Year is based on the inter-se merit of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University in the month of April-June,

Following minimum eligibility criteria:

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Pharmacy-Allopathy) (2 years after 10+2) or equivalent (Diploma should be recognized by PCI)

3. Bachelor of Hotel Management: Admission to BHMCT is based on the inter-se merit of the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University in the month of April-June

Following minimum eligibility criteria:

The candidate should have passed Class 12 of CBSE or any other equivalent board.

Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The aggregate will be calculated as the aggregate of the best of four subjects including one language and a compulsory subject

4. Bachelor of Technology: All seats are to be filled as per the norms of the State Government and based on merit in JEE. All the seats are to be filled under one category of fees as decided by the state Government/State Fee & Admission Committee.

5. B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Admission to B.Tech, 2nd Year is based on the inter-se merit of Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University on the month of April-June, along with the following minimum eligibility criteria

A candidate must have passed the three-year Diploma in Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education from an AICTE-approved institution in the appropriate branch of engineering/technology in aggregate of all semesters.

A candidate must have passed the three years B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university and should have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.

The applicant admitted to the M.Tech program must have at least :

1. For General/OBC candidates 60% marks in B.Tech or equivalent

2. For SC/ST candidates 55% marks in B.Tech or equivalent

3. Candidates having 60% marks and valid qualified GATE scores for General/OBC candidates and 55% marks and valid qualified GATE scores for SC/ST candidates will be given preference in admission. Candidates having valid and qualified GATE scores are not required to appear in the University entrance examination.  In counseling first seats will be filled by the valid score GATE candidates and if interested candidates with valid GATE scores are not available then the remaining seats will be filled according to the merit of the University Entrance Examination.

Uttarakhand Technical University Post Graduate Admission Process 2024-25

1. Master of Computer Application: Admission to MCA is based on the inter-se merit of the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University in the month of April-June

Following minimum eligibility criteria:

Aspirants who have done their BCA, BBA, or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course. Students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply. These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2. There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course.

Students who would like to join the MCA course must have a pass in graduation with more than 60 percent marks. They need to write an entrance exam to get admission into the MCA course.

2. The applicant admitted to M. Pharm. program must have at least :

1. For General/OBC candidates 55% marks in B. Pharm. or equivalent from PCI approved Institute.

2. For SC/ST candidates 50% marks in B. Pharm. or equivalent from PCI approved Institute.

Latest State Pharmacist registration.

Candidates having 55% marks and valid qualified GPAT scores for General/OBC candidates and 50% marks and valid qualified GPAT scores for SC/ST candidates will be given preference in admission.  Candidates having valid and qualified GPAT scores are not required to appear in the University entrance examination.  In counseling first seats will be filled by the valid score GPAT candidates and if interested candidates with valid GPAT scores are not available then the remaining seats will be filled according to the merit of the University Entrance Examination.
