St. Joseph College of Education was founded in the year 2007 and it is owned and managed by the R. C . Diocese of Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. It is a registered society registered under ACT XXI of 1860, S.No. 17 of 1974. The college has got recognition from the NCTE.As per NCTE- 2014 norms; the approved intake is two basic units that consist of 100 students. The recognition order numbers: 1.
