Auditorium
A holistic learning experience extends beyond traditional classroom settings. Guest lectures, symposiums, seminars, and conferences offer students valuable insights, innovative ideas, and opportunities for meaningful discussions with peers and experts.
Our auditorium, seating 1000 individuals, fosters this dynamic exchange of ideas. Complete with air conditioning and modern amenities such as multimedia projectors and high-fidelity sound systems, the auditorium features spacious lobbies and verandas, making it an excellent venue for conferences and exhibitions. Numerous distinguished guests have graced this prestigious venue, including the former President of India, His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
For more intimate seminars and meetings, a mini auditorium accommodating 300 people is also available. As the frequency of interdisciplinary seminars and symposiums continues to grow, each department is equipped with its own well-appointed seminar hall.
Health Centre
Maintaining physical health is essential for mental acuity. To ensure students have access to medical care and advice, a well-equipped dispensary is located within the Bio-Medical department, and a campus doctor is readily available to address students' medical needs. Additionally, a dedicated van is on standby to transport patients to a hospital when necessary.
Hostel
Our hostels offer a comfortable and convenient "home away from home" environment with spacious rooms and ample storage. Internet connectivity, available via Wi-Fi or wired connections, enables students to access online educational resources seamlessly.
Each hostel is designed as a self-contained unit, featuring its own kitchen, dining hall, reading room/library, television, and telephone facilities. Separate accommodations are provided for male and female students.
Library
A superior library is characterized by its extensive resources and conducive atmosphere. The SSN Central Library delivers both to our students.
With a collection of over 108,763 volumes and 36,514 titles, as well as an online journal database linked to IEL (IEEE & IEE), ACM, Science Direct, SpringerLink.com, and EBSCO, the library offers a wealth of knowledge resources to support students' academic pursuits. The library houses 209 national and 63 international journals and magazines to keep students updated on the latest research and findings. The library's resources are continually expanding, with approximately 2,000 new books added each semester. Moreover, SSN holds institutional memberships with libraries at IIT-Madras, Anna University, British Council, MALIBNET (Madras Library Network, Chennai), and DELNET (Developing Library Network, New Delhi).
The library's offerings extend beyond print and digital resources. We provide access to 110 NPTEL video lectures and 129 web courses across various disciplines, accessible throughout the campus via our intranet. Additionally, students can engage with interactive lectures through Anna EDUSAT Ku-Band.
Designed as a tranquil, air-conditioned space conducive to focused study, the library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., accommodating students' busy academic schedules.
Sports and Game
Sports provide a healthy balance to rigorous academic pursuits, offering students opportunities to interact, maintain physical fitness, strive for excellence, and collaborate in teams. Our sports facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped, catering to a diverse range of sports. The campus features an indoor stadium as well as ample outdoor sports facilities.
Transport
The college offers exceptional transportation facilities, enabling students to commute conveniently from any part of the city. With a well-maintained fleet of buses, the college's transportation service stands out as one of the city's best. The transportation services consistently ensure timely arrivals at the campus and punctual departures to students' homes.
Cafeteria

Therefore, we have invested in providing our students, staff, and their guests with access to delicious, nutritious, and affordable on-campus dining options. The two-story cafeteria building comfortably accommodates our expanding student population, and its extended operating hours make it an ideal spot for a nourishing snack amidst a hectic academic schedule.

The Career Development Centre at SSN plays an integral role in guiding the students to achieve their career goals. The centre facilitates the training activities with the help of industry experts, alumni and corporate trainers to prepare the students industry-ready.
