The only Library housing “NEWGENLIB” Library automation Software in Gujarat and N-LIST Program in the region. The library is the lifeline for the academic activity of the Institute. The Library is known for its rich collection, with ample of resources for conducting R & D activities. Has access to several e-resources (e-books, e-journals) under the NLIST Program. Well equipped, ICT enabled, continuously updated with Collection & technology with all modem facilities to cater to the Information & Knowledge needs. Situated on the 3rd Floor of the College Building, with an elegant, well-ventilated & welcoming ambiance; divided into various sections like- lending, circulation, Reference, Periodical, Technical processing, E-Library & Reading Room. It has a Collection of Approx. 24,500 volumes of Books, 120 periodicals & around 2000 Multimedia Collections catering to all subjects. Under the NLIST program, we have access to around 75000+ e-books (E-library, Net Library, etc…) & about 3000+ e-journals (National & International), MathSciNet Database, etc. 

SMVSNVSC Golden Jubilee Activities

Rajkot has been the education capital of not only Saurashtra but also of Gujarat for contributing towards the literacy ratio, and one of the prime contributors in Rajkot, Shree M. & N. Virani Science College, organized Avsar Triveni Which will be one of the benchmarks in the field of education in Rajkot. This “Avsar Triveni” had a combo of 3 celebrations which included the dream vision of H.D.H Guru Hari Shri Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj of launching “Atmiya University” Secondly; Shree M & N Virani Science College completed 50 years and Thirdly, Alumini Meet. The homework for the event started a couple of months back; coordinating for dates with the Honorable CM of Gujarat and the Honorable Education Minister of Gujarat, Inviting the first batch alumni of Virani College and subsequent batches there via personal calls, WhatsApp, Telegram, and other Social Media platforms. A Whooping number of 2250+ registrations were received and these ex-students were accompanied by their family which counted to 2650+ thus the total number of visitors was 5000++. A day before the Inaugural of the Atmiya University a cultural program was organized where shining Singing star Jaydev Gosai performed for the University amidst a 10,000 audience (including existing students) along with this, various performances were lined by Atmiya School and SMNVSC College students. On the dream day, i.e. 24th Feb 2019, in the holy presence of H.D.H Guruhari Shri Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj along with Hon’ble C.M. of Gujarat Shri Vijaybhai Rupani and the Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama this campus was PRONOUNCED as ATMIYA UNIVERSITY. On this Inaugural Occasion, Hon’ble C.M. Vijaybhai Rupani and Education Minister congratulated the entire team of Atmiya and Took the blessing of H.D.H Guru Hari Shri Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj. The entire event was executed under the visionary guidance of the President of Atmiya University Param Pujya Tyagvallabh Swamiji where more than 1000+ volunteered for this event with whole hearts and welcomed the “Atmiya University” Era.
