Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University Of Agriculture, Meerut for Admission 2024-25

Through Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (CATET) at State level. In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 384 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of the Uttar Pradesh Krishi Evam Prodyogik Vishwavidyalaya (Dwitiya Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2006 (Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 16 of 2006) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Governor on May 23, 2006. (3-a) The Registrar shall be responsible for organizing, by rotation, joint Entrance Examination for admission in all courses of study of the four State Agricultural Universities.

1. Candidates must visit the official website of UPCATET, the application form will be available on the website page.
   
2. The application form should be filled up carefully with all the required details. 
3. Candidates must carry a scanned copy of a passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impression which are necessary to upload.
4. The application fee should be made online through net banking or through e-challan deposited in any branch of SBI bank.

SVBPUAT B.Sc., B. V. Sc., B.Tech , and Diploma Admission 2024-25

1. Candidates applying for admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) agriculture, B. V. Sc. and B.Tech (biotechnology) degree at SVBPUAT are required to have completed intermediate in agriculture science or 10+2 with PCB/PCMB with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized board.
2. Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in the UPCATET entrance exam. Counselling for UG courses will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards.
   

Key Points for Admission:

1. 10% relaxation in qualifying exam is given to candidates of reserved category.
   
2. Age limit for admission in B. V. Sc. course is from 17 to 23.
3. Age limit for admission in B.Sc. and B.Tech course is from 16 to 22.
4.  A weightage of 2% will be given to those students who participated in inter university / state level sports competition in the B.Sc. and B.Tech courses.

SVBPUAT M.Sc. and M.Tech Admission 2024-25

1. SVBPUAT offers various PG courses. It offers M.Tech in Agriculture Process and Food Engineering and M.Sc. course in 10 specializations in the field of agriculture. Candidates aspiring for admission into the M.Sc. and M.Tech courses should have completed their B.Sc. and B.Tech courses in the relevant fields of study respectively.
2. Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in the UPCATET entrance exam.
   

Key Point for Admission:

1. Candidates who hold B.Sc. degree in biology are not eligible for admission into the M.Tech./ M.Sc. course in Biotechnology.
   
2. There is no age limit for PG courses.

SVBPUAT PhD Admission 2024-25

1. Candidates can obtain a PhD from 11 different specializations at SVBPUAT. Those applying for admission into the PhD programs should have completed their undergraduate and postgraduate education from a relevant field of study.
2. Candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in the UPCATET entrance exam. UPCATET is a state level exam conducted by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. The counseling for the UG courses will be conducted by UPCATET from June 24 onwards.
