1. Admissions at the University are granted based on the regulations established by the relevant bodies of the University. A candidate applying for admission is presumed to agree to comply with the university rules, and no litigation shall be tenable in this regard.
2. Admissions are open to Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians, and foreign students following government guidelines. Admissions for all university programs are based on merit in the university-conducted Entrance Test. In cases where the entrance test is not conducted or fewer candidates are available, admissions will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. NRI/Foreign student admissions will be merit-based on qualifying examination marks. If an admission test is conducted, merit will be determined by the All India admission test conducted by the university. The university may associate with other universities to conduct admission tests for similar courses. The university may also consider scores/merit from entrance tests conducted by other bodies/universities/agencies for program admission. Weightage will be given for excellence in sports and extracurricular activities in courses where admission is through merit in the qualifying examination. Government rules shall be applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates in all courses. No relaxation in eligibility criteria will be provided under any circumstances. Admission is not a matter of right, and the university reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason.
3. The university reserves the right to refuse admission even after issuing a notification and starting the admission process. The university can cancel the admission process without providing a reason, and the applicant has no right to a refund of the application/processing fee.
4. All admissions are provisional, and if a candidate's qualifying examination is not recognized or false information is provided, admissions will be canceled. Students must pass a medical test within four weeks of provisional admission, and medically unfit students will have their admissions canceled.
5. Changes in admission rules and eligibility criteria by the Admission Committee/Academic Council will be applicable to applicants seeking admission.
6. Candidates must produce original mark sheets/certificates, including the statement of marks, at the time of interview/reporting for admission. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission.
7. Candidates found ineligible or using fraudulent means will not be allowed to appear for the interview or complete admission formalities. If errors/omissions are detected in the processing/verification of certificates/documents after admission, the university can cancel the admission.
8. Vacancies created due to canceled admissions will be filled from the waiting list. The university may issue duplicate Admit Cards under special circumstances, and candidates must inform the Post Office of any address change.
9. The list of selected candidates will be displayed, and candidates not reporting for admission will forfeit their claim. The university will not be responsible if a candidate fails to get information about selection. The university may display a waiting list for potential vacancies, and candidates not selected will not be informed or refunded.
10. Canvassing for securing admission is not allowed, and disputes regarding admission must be filed within thirty days of the closing of admissions. The university will not entertain disputes filed after this period.
11. Applicants are advised to fill out the application form carefully, and incomplete forms or those without the requisite fee will be rejected. The receipt number should be quoted for all queries or correspondence. Candidates with an intervening period in their studies must submit an affidavit explaining the reason for discontinuation.
12. Selected candidates must deposit the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination while completing admission formalities. Candidates are not allowed to take admission in the same course/class they have already passed. Provisionally admitted candidates in a lower preference course may be transferred to a higher preference course if vacancies arise.
