Patna University has diverse courses to offer in the UG curriculum. B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Lib.Sc, BFA, BSW, LLB & B.Ed courses are offered in multiple specialisations by the university.

For being eligible to UG courses, candidates are required to complete 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum percentile. For admission to traditional courses such as B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BFA, BSW, students need to appear in PUCET which is conducted by the university and obtain a qualified score to be selected. B.A & B.Sc are imparted in both General and Hons. courses. 

For professional B.Lib.Sc, LLB & B.Ed courses candidates need to complete graduation in any stream from a recognized university. To be selected in LLB & B.Ed courses, candidates need to obtain qualified marks in BLET & BEET.

Patna University UG Eligibility 

For B.A, B.A (Hons.), BBA, BFA, B.Com (Hons.) and BSW courses, students must pass 10+2 from a recognized board with 45% marks in aggregate.

For B.Sc and B.Sc (Hons.) courses, the eligibility criteria are to complete the intermediate level with 45% marks in aggregate with PCM subjects combination from a recognized board. 

For LLB, B.Lib.Sc candidates must pass graduation with honors and with 45% marks in aggregate respectively. 

To be eligible for a B.Ed course, applicants should pass Bachelor's Degree in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor's in Engineering or B.Tech with 55% marks or master's degree in any stream. 

Patna University PG Selection Criteria

To be selected for B.A, B.A (Hons.), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.), BBA, BFA, B.Com (Hons.), and BSW courses, students need to appear in PUCET conducted by the university itself and must obtain qualified marks. 

For selection to B.Ed and LLB courses, students must secure a qualified score in BEET & BLET.

At PG level in different disciplines, multiple courses are imparted by Patna University. Programs like M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, LLM, M.Lib.Sc, MSW are offered together with professional MBA and MCA courses. 

For the PG courses, the eligibility criteria is to complete graduation in relevant disciplines from a recognized university. Selection will be made on both entrance & merit. The university grants a CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA score for admission to M.A & MBA courses. For LLM & M.Ed, the university accepts MLET & MEET scores respectively. For being eligible to M.A, M.Sc, MSW courses, students need to complete graduation with at least 45% marks in aggregate in related fields from a recognized university. 

To be eligible for an M.Com course, applicants are required to have a B.Com, BBA or BBM degree. 

For M.Lib.Sc, candidates should have done B.Lib.Sc with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. 

To be eligible for an M.Ed course, students must have scored 50% marks in B.Ed./ B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed., B.El.Ed.,/ D.El.Ed./D.Ed from a recognized university.
