NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech Admission 2024

The institute offers 4-year B.Tech degree courses in seven engineering streams. For admission into B. Tech, applicants must have a valid score in JEE Main. However, the final seat is allotted during the JoSAA Counselling.

NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

For NIT Kurukshetra admission in B.Tech, candidates must have at least 75% marks in the 10+2 examination or be in the top 20% of the respective board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject, are eligible to apply. The qualifying marks for SC/ST category candidates would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

Considering the 12th exam results and the score of JEE Main, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing the All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. To participate in the NIT Kurukshetra admission process, candidates have to register for counseling online at the official JoSSA website. Choice filling and locking are mandatory and it is to be done by the candidate only. In a decreasing order of preference, branch choices are to be filled.
