With its inception in 2006, NEPEDS is one of the premieres of Registered Paramedical, Nursing, and skill development Institutions that has grown bigger and better with the passage of time and has trained more than 2213 students to date and changed their lives in a positive way. Classroom and Laboratory:

The Institute has well-equipped labs with modern equipment to give practical exposure to students. All labs are well-equipped according to PCI and AICTE guidelines. 

Computer Lab and Internet Centre: 

The Institute computer lab has 35 computers with internet connection as well as Wi-Fi LAN. 

Canteen:

The Institute has a spacious center that serves tea, breakfast, and snacks at reasonable rates.

Gymnasium: 

A gym facility is there on the campus that students can use free of cost.

Library: 

Large library space is there which has different reference books, novels, textbooks, biographies, and so on. The library has 40000+ volumes of books and has a reading room too which can accommodate 120 students at a time. NCPS, a Departmental library is established in 2020. It is located on the 3rd floor of the main building campus. The total capacities of seats are 60. There are 4 reading rooms and the library is full of different textbooks, reference books, e-books, and other sources like journals, dictionaries, etc. Apart from books the library also has print media (newspaper) facilities in various mediums (Assamese and English) and provides the facilities of e-books through the system of electronic media (computer).

Hostels: 

The hostel is quite spacious and furnished with all the basic facilities. Separate hostels are there for both girls as well as boys. A mess facility is also there for the students. Students can avail of the hostel facility on a first-come-first-serve basis. The hostel is well-furnished and comfortable. Its facilities make it an ideal place to stay and study. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Serene and secure, the hostels are designed such that students do not miss their homes. A resident warden, available round the clock, ensures that the student’s requirements are met, and also maintains decorum.
