Covid Readiness
JNU has taken a science-based approach to operate and prevent the spread of COVID-19 effectively on campus. We are further resolved to protect ourselves, our academic and non-academic staff, our students, and our community from the impacts of coronavirus.
The offline classes commenced on 18th January 2021 for the PG Program and from 18th Feb 2021 for the UG program as per State government instructions.
We were among the first few Indian universities to do so.
Facility requests
Any special requests to visit the campus or any COVID-19-related installations, modifications, etc. should be routed through the department head to the leadership on priority.

The four sprawling campuses of JNU house 16 schools and several multi-faculty and multi-specialty departments. Medical facilities for students, faculty, staff, and any visitor are available at the fully equipped JNU Hospital and Medical College on the campus.
Medical Help
General healthcare and first aid are provided at health facilities 24*7. All have access to comprehensive medical care at JNU, which also houses some of the best state-of-the-art medical laboratories in the state of Rajasthan.
The 800-bed multi-specialty hospital has separate female and male wards, consultation and counseling rooms, physiotherapy rooms, and sample collection rooms. A team of medical practitioners and doctors along with nurses and student counselors are available at the health centres.
Medical Help
The on-campus pharmacy is open 24*7 and is open for all residents and non-residents of the university at all times.
Stretchers and wheelchairs are made available on-demand and the Health Centre is supported by five ambulances that operate all time of the day or night in case of an emergency. Ambulances are equipped with sophisticated equipment and instruments for any emergency.
