The institute has achieved a 100% placement rate for the 2024 batch, which is the 7th and largest MBA batch for the 2024-25 academic year. The average package at IIM Amritsar has increased by 13%, rising to INR 16.51 LPA from last year's INR 14.63 LPA. The placement drive had 120 companies participating, including renowned recruiters like Accenture, Amazon, Cipla, Deloitte, Adani, BMW, and Cognizant. Additionally, the institute saw several esteemed first-time recruiters, such as ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel, Blackrock, DS Group, Emami, Essar, EXL Services, Godrej & Boyce, Kore.ai, McKinsey, Mercedes-Benz, Reliance Retail, Times Group, and TVS Motors.
