Doon (P.G) College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences (DCAAS) was established in the year 2013 under Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial Educational Society(1988). DCAAS is a leading Science & Agriculture institute offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in several streams of Agriculture, Horticulture, and Fisheries.

All four constituent colleges- Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College & Hospital (DPMC&H), Doon (P.G.) College of Agriculture Science & Technology (DCAST), Doon (P.G.) college of Agriculture and Allied Sciences (DCAAS), and Doon Valley College of Education (DVCE) and ITI, are dedicated to service education for more than 20 years and is preparing Today’s Youth for Tomorrow’s Success.

Doon Public Education Society came into existence in the year 1987 for imparting Vocational Education and Training. Since then, the society is providing leadership, education, guidance, and training in the field of vocational education in the state of Uttarakhand. The society is running two ITIs i.e., Doon Public Pvt. ITI, Dehradun and Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Pvt. ITI approved by NCVT, DGE & T, Ministry of Labour, Government of India. The Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College & Hospital was established in the year 2000 and runs under Ch. Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society (1988) with an objective to provide medical assistance for health, especially in the area of Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Microbiology.

To realize our educational goal, the college further diversified and initiated Innovative and Multidisciplinary Master Degree Programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. It was on 25th December 2001 that Hon’ble Shri Ajit Singh ji, the then Union Minister of Agriculture, inaugurated a new block namely Louis Pasteur in Doon (P.G) Paramedical College & Hospital. In December 2002, a State of Art Biotechnology laboratory and a new block “Har Govind Khurana Bio-tech Block” was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the H.N.B. Garhwal university. Subsequently, Master's degree course programs in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry were initiated to provide students with broad training and education in professional Science Courses.
