Central University Of Himachal Pradesh Admission 2024-25
Central University Of Himachal Pradesh Admission to undergraduate programs is determined by the academic merit in the qualifying examination, such as HSC or 10+2. PG Diploma Program admissions are based on the percentage obtained in the Bachelor's degree. PG Degrees are categorized into three groups, allowing applicants to select a maximum of two programs (choosing only one program from one group out of the three). Candidates can apply for up to two PG programs with a single application form. PG Degree admissions typically rely on a national-level entrance test conducted by the university. However, for the current academic year, the university may waive the entrance test requirement due to the ongoing Corona crisis and admit PG applicants based on academic merit in the qualifying examination.
If a particular program receives fewer than 50 applications, the university reserves the right to cancel the entrance test for that program and admit students based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, additionally, for Ph.D. and M. Phil. Admissions, the university administers a separate entrance test called Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha (HPKVSPP).
