To be eligible for admission to these PG courses, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. Calicut University PGCAP is the centralized admission process facilitating entry into PG programs offered by University Departments and affiliated colleges. Aspiring candidates aiming for admission to PG programs at Calicut University or its affiliated institutions are required to complete the registration process through PGCAP. The selection process is contingent upon the rank secured in the entrance examination, followed by a systematic seat allotment procedure. Depending on the number of applications received for a particular academic year, a minimum of two allotment rounds will take place. The PGCAP seat allotment process encompasses the Trial Allotment, First Allotment, and Second Allotment. Upon acceptance of the seat allotment, candidates must report to the respective college for the admission process. Confirmation of admission is granted upon the successful payment of the prescribed fees.

Calicut University M.Phil & PhD Admission:


Calicut University provides M.Phil and Ph.D. programs at the research level, spanning various disciplines. These programs have a duration ranging from 2 to 5 years. To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold a master’s degree from a recognized university or institute. The admission process involves a written test and a subsequent personal interview conducted by the respective departments, and admissions are granted based on performance in these evaluations.
