1. It is recommended that applicants possess valid competitive scores.

Bangalore University Omnibus Merit List

Bangalore University releases an omnibus merit list for admission to its PG programs. This omnibus list, also referred to as the provisional list, is a temporary merit list published before the final merit list. It provides information on the course, college, or seat that an applicant might secure in the final merit list. After releasing the omnibus merit list, candidates can raise objections if they find any discrepancies in their details.

Bangalore University PhD Admission 2024

Bangalore University offers full-time Ph.D. courses in different specializations. These courses are offered in all the departments of the university. The minimum eligibility criteria is a Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH). Admission is based on the Ph.D. The entrance Test is conducted by the university followed by an interview.

UGC NET/ CSIR-NET/ JRF Test/ SLET/ SET/ GATE/ Recognised young researchers by DST, UGC, CSIR, AICTE, etc., and M.Phil. degree holders are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test. Such candidates have to appear in the interview round conducted by the university.
