AKS University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India under 2(f) of UGC A, and has the approval of AICTE, ICAR, NCTE, PCI, and DGMS. 27th Ranked By India Today 2021. The AKS University has also achieved 20975th impact rank, and 6,683 excellence rank in India, according to the Webometrics surveys. The Unibank survey has placed AKS University at the 8160th position in the world. According to the surveys conducted by Edurank 2021, the AKS has achieved the 27th position among 53 universities in Madhya Pradesh and the 610th position among 876 universities in India.

Approval by AICTE

As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)

The Pharmacy education and profession in India upto graduate level is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 passed by the Parliament. ? The Pharmacy Act 1948 was enacted on 4.3.48 with the following preamble- "An Act to regulate the profession of pharmacy. Whereas it is expedient to make better provision for the regulation of the profession and practice of pharmacy and for that purpose to constitute Pharmacy Councils". ? The PCI was constituted on 9.8.49 under section 3 of the Pharmacy Act.
