Infrastructure

Akal University Residential accommodation
Akal University offers separate hostel facilities for each girl and boy. These completely furnished hostels offer secure and homely surroundings to college students. For healthful nutrition, the hostel mess and canteen are designed for healthy meals to ensure a properly balanced diet. Akal University Library
The library at Akal University has a well-stocked Library and Learning Centre with silent study spaces; video viewing facilities; newspapers, magazines, and periodicals; and computers (all with internet access and USB ports and printing services). The Central Library responds to the enrollment wishes of faculty, students, staff, institutions of study, and amp; Industries. Priority is given to preserving library collections up-to-date, with an emphasis on main texts for undergraduates and taught postgraduate courses.
The library has 2 separate reading rooms for boys and girls. The total capacity is 80 places at a time, including the ICT lab and the reference section of the library. The library automation and security system are based on Koha Library Management software integrated with RFID technology.
Akal University Transports
The safety of our college students is our top concern. Thus, our shipping facility is completely equipped to offer the safest & maximum handy transport solution. The University offers superb transportation facilities with a fleet of buses one at a time for college students and staff. Transportation specializes in inaccessibility in preference to mobility and Hi-Tech Group presents a huge variety of transportation facilities. There is a Transport Committee observing transport facilities for college students and keeping subject and anti-ragging inside the buses. Admission 2024-25
Admission to Akal University's UG and PG programs is based on merit, while the Ph.D. program requires candidates to take an entrance exam conducted by the University.
Candidates need to fill out application forms online and submit them to the University office. Each course applied for requires a separate application form and application fee. For admission to BA, B.Com, and B.Sc courses, candidates must have passed HSC from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% marks. The minimum eligibility for PG courses is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. Selection for all UG and PG courses is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Admission to the Ph.D. program is based on an entrance exam conducted by the University.

Akal University (AU) offers three-year Honours degree programs in Arts, Sciences, and Commerce, leading to BA, B.Sc., and B.Com degrees with various specializations.

Akal University PG Admission 2023: MA, M.Sc., M.Com, B.Ed
AU provides two-year Honours degree programs in M.Sc., M.Com., and MA with diverse specializations. Additionally, the university offers integrated B.Ed. courses in two disciplines.
Candidates applying for PG courses should have completed a graduation degree in a relevant field with at least 60% marks. For BA-B.Ed. or B.Sc.-B.Ed. courses, candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline.
Admission to these courses is based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Akal University Ph.D. Admission 2023
The university offers Ph.D. programs in seven disciplines. To be eligible for the Ph.D. program, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with the required minimum marks.
Selection for the Ph.D. program is based on an entrance examination conducted by the university.
Key Points:
Candidates who have cleared UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or GATE examinations are exempt from the entrance test.
The entrance exam comprises two papers: Paper I (objective) and Paper II (subjective).

How to Apply?

3. Fill out the form on the new page, upload the required documents, and click 'Submit'.
4. To download the form, click on the 'Downloads' tab and choose either 'Admission forms General' or 'Admission form Ph.D.'.

Placement
AU Bathinda placement cell also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logic and Reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written test. Detailed descriptions of the whole procedure of placement followed by the Training & Placement cell of the AUTS Bathinda are mentioned below in steps.The AUTS Bathinda Placement cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure.
- The AU Bathinda Training and Placement Cell then fixes their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.
- Students need to register themselves with the Akal University Placement cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.
- Akal University Recruiters will then fix dates with AU Bathinda to visit the campus to conduct the recruitment process via various steps including a Written Test, Group discussion and Interviews.
- Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.
- Students of the university also need to appear and qualify for a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
- Students of Akal University, Bathinda who will qualify for the written test also need to qualify for Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students.
- After clearing the GD round, students also need to go through various rounds of Interview namely Technical Interview and HR Interview conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills and confidence of students.
- Students of AU Bathinda qualify for all rounds of tests and interviews and are then offered job offers and salary packages depending on their performance and overall academic scores in their academics.
Scholarships
Scholarships to Meritorious Students to make training on hand to all strata of society, Kalgidhar Society, awards scholarships to economically weaker and meritorious college students in all of the programs. Minority Community Scholarships are centrally subsidized schemes to offer economic help to the bad and meritorious college students belonging to minority communities (Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Buddhists, and Parsis).
