CAT 2024: Last-Minute Tips Study Hacks
Here are some important last-minute tips to crack the CAT exam 2024:
- No New Topic: None of the topics is left now. Revise and work on the topics you have already studied. A new topic is something that you will start wasting your time on.
- Revision with Short Notes: Collect all the short notes you jotted down while preparing for CAT 2024. The short notes would help you memorise and review key points related to CAT topics and concepts.
- Official CAT Mock Test: You may go through the official CAT mock test 2024 to learn the test navigation system and exam guidelines. Knowing these before the exam would be useful for you.
- Analyse Your Strong Areas: Basis your CAT preparation so far, analyze which are your strong areas viz. the CAT syllabus. Are your strong areas similar to the one from which most questions are asked? If not, read the concepts and theorems one last time.
- Remember Your Weak Areas: Remember the topics that you couldn't grasp. Refer to any previous year's CAT question paper to know their weightage in the exam. Avoid questions from those topics in CAT 2024 to avoid wastage of time or negative marking.
- Determine the Number of Questions to Target: CAT is a time-bound test and candidates cannot answer all the questions. So don't even try that. Decide the number of questions you want to solve in each section of the CAT 2024 so that you score in the target B-School. You can attempt more questions if time permits.
- Stay Confident: The CAT exam not only tests your aptitude but also how you deal with pressure. So, whatever the CAT 2024 question paper is like, stay calm and composed for the exam. Don't be nervous about the topics you couldn't cover; be confident about the topics you have covered. Moreover, VARC is the first section of the CAT and RC passages are usually dense and confusing so you have to keep your mind calm to be able to crack them. A good beginning makes a good end.
