WBJEE Eligibility 2024: Domicile/Residential Requirement

Domicile

2. Applicants for WBJEE registration in 2024 whose parents have a permanent residential address in the state will be given consideration.

Nationality: 

1. To compete in West Bengal JEE 2024, candidates must be of Indian descent or be outside of India.

WBJEE Academic Requirements

To get eligible for WBJEE Eligibility 2024, students must pass class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks & an equivalent degree in the main subject of physics chemistry and maths from any recognised Board in India. In such cases, the candidate will be eligible for seat allotment only if he/ she passes the qualifying examination with the minimum required WBJEE Eligibility 2024. 

WBJEE Eligibility 2024 for Engineering Courses

1. Physics, mathematics, and one of the following subjects must be taken as required classes in Class 12: computer science, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or technical vocational Subject
2. Minimum Grade: 45% for the three subjects listed above when taken as a whole. Candidates should be aware that a minimum of 40% is needed if they fall into one of the reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OA-A, OBC-B, or PwD.
3. Candidates need to have received at least 30% in their English class.
4. Any board that has been approved by the relevant State or Federal government may serve as the qualifying examination board.

WBJEE Eligibility 2024 for Pharmacy Courses

1. Classes 12: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology are mandatory.
2. Minimum Grade: 45% for the three subjects listed above when taken as a whole. Candidates should be aware that a minimum of 40% is needed if they fall into one of the reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OA-A, OBC-B, or PwD.
3. Candidates need to have received at least 30% in their English class.
4. Any board that has been approved by the relevant State or Federal government may serve as the qualifying examination board. Candidates with non-formal, irregular class modes, non-classroom-based education, open school learning, or distance learning, however, will not be able to enrol in WBJEE 2023 B.Pharm courses.
