MET Eligibility Criteria 2025 - MAHE will release the MET 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website manipal.edu. The eligibility criteria will provide details about nationality, minimum educational qualification and age limit to apply for MET 2025. To appear for the Manipal entrance exam, a student must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. MET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Manipal Entrance Exam This is a computer-based online test conducted for the assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, and aptitude in the subject areas. The test usually consists of two phases: Phase I and Phase II. The former is a computer-based exam, while the latter is an interview round. Test The test is usually undertaken every year. Generally, the MET application process begins during the time period between October and November.
MET 2025 Age Criteria
- For undergraduate programmes, the candidate must be born on or after 1 July 2002.
- Postgraduate programmes, there is no upper age limit.
MET 2025 Academic Qualifications
Students must have this given Qualification before applying for MET exam
For Undergraduate Programmes:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination in the current year are also eligible to apply.
For Postgraduate Programmes:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree in the current year are also eligible to apply.
MET 2025 Subject-wise Eligibility
For undergraduate programs:
- B.Tech: Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- B.Pharma: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- Other Programmes: Candidates must have studied relevant subjects in 10+2 or equivalent examinations as specified by the university.
For postgraduate programs:
Candidates must have studied relevant subjects in the graduation degree specified by the university.
Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or Foreign national.
MET 2025 Application Process
The MET application process usually begins in October-November. Candidates can apply online through the official website of MAHE. The application process includes:
- Registration: Candidates have to register themselves on the official website by providing basic information like name, email ID, and mobile number.
- Filling the application form: Candidates have to fill out the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Uploading documents: Candidates have to upload scanned copies of required documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, passport-size photos, and signatures.
- Paying application fee: Candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹600 (for Phase I) and ₹1400 (for Phase II) through online mode.
MET Exam Pattern
The MET exam pattern varies depending on the program applied for. The exam consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) and is divided into several sections. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
