AIMA, the organisation that administers the test, has released the comprehensive MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024. Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from an accredited university in order to be eligible for the 2024 MAT. Additionally, candidates may apply for the MAT 2024 exam even if they are in their final year of graduation. To register for MAT 2024, there is no minimum age requirement. The MAT 2024 application forms for the February session are now available from AIMA which administers the MAT exam, which is required for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes at esteemed B-schools around the nation. Candidates filling out the MAT 2024 application form have the choice of selecting up to five colleges.
MAT is a national-level entrance exam which is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs offered by various B-schools across the country. There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for the MAT examination. |

MAT conducting body AIMA does not specify any reservation or different criteria as per colleges. However various participating institutes have set up their own rules of MAT exam eligibility percentage for admission in the respective institutes. Some of these criteria implied by some colleges are:
Minimum 50% to 60% marks in graduation required
Some relaxation may be given to professional degree holders
Weightage to work experience may be awarded in admission criteria
Weightage can be given to women candidates in admission criteria to promote gender diversity
Good weightage can be given for excellent academic performance in classes 10 and 12
