What is GUJCET?

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is an entrance exam conducted for shortlisted candidates for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharma programs offered by various colleges in Gujarat. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts the exam. GUJCET Exam is a state-level entrance exam. The allocation of positions is based on the marks obtained in the exam.

GUJCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the GUJCET Exam Eligibility criteria which have been mentioned below. The governing body has fixed and the candidates must meet the requirements to apply for the GUJCET 2025 exam. The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat and an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply for the GUJCET Exam 2025. In addition, the candidate must have secured a passing mark in the intermediate (12th) examination or a test of a similar nature.

  1. A candidate from the general group must also have secured at least 45% marks in the intermediate level to be considered. The criteria for the cut-off categories have been significantly reduced to 40% marks.
  2. PCM courses (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) must also be completed by the candidates for B.Tech programmes

Age Limit

- There is no specific age limit for appearing in GUJCET.

Qualifying Examination

- Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board (such as CBSE, GSEB, etc.) are eligible to apply.

Number of Attempts

- There is no restriction on the number of attempts for GUJCET exam.

Other Requirements

- Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in their qualifying examination.

GUJCET 2025 Exam pattern

The GUJCET exam pattern will be released by the GSEB board. The exam pattern details below are based on previous years' exam papers. The exam pattern will be released on the official website before the exam is out.

  1. This exam is held in pen-and-paper format
  2. The Time Duration of this exam is 3 Hours
  3. The question paper is available in 3 different languages (English, Gujarati and Hindi).
  4. The questions will cover physics, chemistry and mathematics for engineering courses. For pharmacy courses, the questions will cover physics, chemistry and biology.
  5. The question paper will have a total of 120 multiple-choice questions and 40 MCQ questions for each subject.
  6. Each correct answer will be rewarded one mark and for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted

GUJCET 2025 Registration and Fee

The registration period for the GUJCET Exam (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is valid from January 2025. The official website to fill GUJCET application form is gseb.gujcet.org. The exam fee is Rs 350 which can be paid online through credit card, debit card or net banking.

GUJCET 2025 Counseling and Seat Allotment

After registering for counselling, the official website will be updated with information about GUJCET Exam 2025 counselling and seat allotment. For the GUJCET Exam 2025, the seats and instructions are allocated for each round. GUJCET 2025 counselling information and seat allotment procedure is here only for the informational use of candidates.

Step 1: Registration and Filling of Counseling Form

On the official website, candidates have to register for GUJCET 2025 counselling and seat allotment. At the time of GUJCET 2025 counselling registration, candidates have to submit all the necessary details including name, father's name and mobile number. Users will get an ACPC login after registration.

Step 2: Fill Application Form Details

Once you fill GUJCET Exam 2025 application form, you need to provide your academic and other personal details. GUJCET 2025/JEE exams are the top priorities of students and parents. So you need to be extra careful while filling out the application form. All applicants must submit the required documents after entering their details.

Step 3: Submission of Merit List

Based on the JEE Main/GUJCET results of the candidates, the authorities will release the merit list for all the registered candidates. Allotment of seats will be based on the merit list of the GUJCET Exam 2025.

Step 4: Option Filling Process

Enter the correct login details to access the site.

Candidates can complete the options they are asked to do on the dashboard under the 'Fill and Lock Options' option. A list of each option will appear on the screen.

Candidates can change, add or change their options as often as necessary before the deadline. If the candidate fails to lock the options on the last day of the GUJCET selection process, all will be automatically locked at midnight.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

Authorities will allot the seats based on the GUJCET Exam 2025 /JEE Main seat allotment online. Candidates can access the GUJCET 2025 Admission Test by entering their username and password. Qualified candidates will enter the GUJCET seat allotment letter.

Candidates who are satisfied with their seats must pay the required amount to reserve a seat. Payment can be made at the nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank offline or online (net banking, credit card, credit card). The consent form will not be generated until payment is received.

If the candidates are not satisfied with their seats after the first round of GUJCET Exam counselling and seat selection, they can take part in the subsequent rounds.

Step 6: Report to Universities

Applicants who wish to complete the admission process must report to the Admissions Office after paying the required fee. After submitting the information to the designated office, the candidates must also submit their documents which may include the admission form, payment/challenge receipt, reference letter etc.

GUJCET 2025 Admit Card

GUJCET Admit Card 2025 is released by the Gujarat Board for Intermediate and High Schools. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam can download the admit card. Admit card contains important information like exam date, exam venue, exam schedule, shifts and other important information.

How to download the GUJCET Admit Card 2025
  1. First visit the official website of GSEB, gseb.org.
  2. Go to the second step to get a GUJCET 2025 Admit Card.
  3. In the third step, enter your registered email address or mobile number. Then enter your GUJCET Exam application form or DOB number.
  4. After re-entering the captcha code, click on the Search House Ticket tab. Your GUJCET 2025 Hall Ticket will open showing your GUJCET 2025 Application Form details.

GUJCET 2025 Reservation Criteria

A number of seats are reserved for students belonging to socio-economic groups by following the GUJCET exam reservation criteria.

Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for GUJCET reserved seats are allowed to enrol in one of the participating universities.
