Latest Update for CUET 2024
CUET 2024: On April 30, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will make the CUET city intimation slip 2024 available. The exam city intimation slip will be available for download at cuetug.ntaonline.in for candidates who applied for CUET 2024. In the second week of May 2024, the authorities will release the CUET admission card 2024. It is anticipated that NTA will soon release the CUET UG 2024 schedule.
The hybrid CUET 2024 exam is slated to take place from May 15 to May 31, 2024. The number of applicants for each CUET subject will determine the examination mode. For subjects with more than 1.5 lakh registrations, the exam will be administered using pen and paper method. 13.4 lakh people applied for the CUET UG 2024. The English subject has received the highest number of applications (10 lakh candidates), followed by the General test (8.34 lakh candidates).

The CUET 2024 exam pattern is issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, along with the notification and information brochure. CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid mode. As per the exam pattern of CUET exam will have Section 1A, Section 1B, General Test, and domain-specific subjects. Section 1A, which is compulsory, includes 13 languages, and candidates will be given the option to choose the language of their choice. Section 1B is optional and for students who want to opt for another language apart from the ones that are a part of Section 1A. Some of the languages on offer are French, Arabic, German, etc. Each question will carry five marks, and there will be one mark negative marking for each wrong answer.

The official notification and syllabus for the CUET UG 2024 are released by NTA. The NCERT Class 12 syllabus and the CUET syllabus are at the same level.
