What is Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)?

 

Bachelor's degree in Architecture is a programme for five years. This training includes diverse dimensions of several streams of humanities, engineering, aesthetics, etc.

  • In addition to required courses, students must finish in Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks (PCM).
  • The pass percentage for the class reserved is 45% (a 5 per cent relaxation).
  • The students of a recognised university/board/institution shall have finished a 3-year graduate degree in any area of class 10.
  • Pupils must have cleared NATA (National Architecture Aptitude Test) with an 80% grade from the Architecture Council (CoA)
  • Some universities also conduct entrance examinations for architectural entry. Therefore NATA is not obligatory.
