There are three places of refuge, one for men and one for women. The total capacity of all currently available dormitories is around 250. Out of the 3 male dormitories, 2 are 3-bed dorms and MH4 (Faculty Hostel) are 2-bed dorms. The girl's dormitories have 3 lounges with a total capacity of around 70 students. As far as possible, students from the same group will be accommodated in the same dormitory. The hostels are under the control of the hostel manager who will report to the general manager. In both the men's and women's hostels, there will be a deputy hostel manager and a house cook to assist the hostel manager in running the hostels. The hostel security guard and Dy. Hostel Warden is a full-time staff member of the Institute.
